OXJAM Music Festival

Oxjam is a music festival with a difference. There are hundreds of events throughout October organized by ordinary people, taking pubs, clubs and front rooms across the UK by storm.

Local Leicester bands and artists are coming together to help fight the devastating impact of climate change and help stamp out poverty in some of the worlds poorest countries.

Rain Entertainment and Barristers are collaborating to hold an Exclusive Fashion Show and Live Music Event to raise money for OXJAM on Thursday 22nd October 2009, doors open at 7.30pm.

Guests will be greeted by a Fire Breather and presented with a complimentary drink on arrival to get them in the mood for the evening.

Dazzling burlesques dancers will be entertaining the audiences in the bar area along with the fashion show. Throughout the evening guests will be entertained by a live Jazz band and an exclusive Fashion Show produced by Rain Entertainment. If that isn’t enough, you will be able to participate in more fundraising activities by playing on the roulette table and taking part in the raffle winning prizes such as Ed Hardy T-Shirts sponsored by ISIS, free meal vouchers sponsored by the well known Bella Italia, Mirch Masala, Cedars and much much more….

Models will be strutting their stuff to the funkiest beats provided by the latest Dj’s adding the finishing touch to the night. Courtesy of Barristers, an after party will carry on the vibe of the night…

Outfits will range from a sexy selection of dresses to hot and sizzling Asian wear. So whether you’re a fan of your casuals, or a romantic inspired look, then head down to Barristers and be ahead of the crowd this season. Also look out for clothing on the catwalk sponsored by Moreglam which will be auctioned on the evening.

All proceeds raised on the evening will go to OXFAM.

So for all you fashionista’s, budding designers, talent scouts and fashion victims, Rain Entertainment and Barristers present to you, an exclusive preview of high street stores and designers. On the night, some of the brands showcasing their outfits will be, Primark, Peacocks, Rituals Jewellery, Suit Bazaar and many more….
